Cookie Policy

To make browsing our website easier, our web server uses cookies through IT solutions. These are small and compact text files placed on the user’s computer for the purpose of tracking selected language options on our pages, as well as when accessing parts of the website that require entering a username and password.

Cookies cannot be used for unauthorized access to your computer system, running programs, remote control, or placing viruses on your device. Some cookies set by our web server are automatically deleted from your computer at the end of the session, i.e., when you leave our website.

For this website to function properly and for us to improve it further in order to enhance your browsing experience (UX), the site must store a small amount of information on your device (cookies).

Most websites use this practice, but under applicable regulations — especially GDPR, the Electronic Communications Act, and the Personal Data Protection Act — the Data Controller must inform you that by using the website you consent to the use of cookies unless you block them in your browser at the beginning of your visit. By blocking cookies, you can still browse the site, but some features may not be available.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is information stored on your device by the website you visit. Cookies usually store your settings, such as the selected language. Later, when you revisit the same website, the browser sends back the cookies belonging to that site. This allows the website to display information tailored to your needs. In short: the goal is for the website to anticipate your preferences based on previous visits, making browsing more pleasant and efficient.

Cookies can store a wide range of information, including personal data (such as your name or email address). However, this information can only be stored if you allow it — websites cannot access information you have not permitted, nor can they access other files on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. Default cookie storage and sending activities are not visible to you — they occur in the background. Still, you can change your browser settings to choose whether to approve or reject cookie storage requests, delete stored cookies automatically when closing the browser, and more.

How to disable cookies?

By disabling cookies, you decide whether to allow them to be stored on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. Cookie settings can be controlled and configured in your web browser and in the advanced options of this website — by clicking on advanced settings. If you disable cookies, some website functionalities may not be available.

What are persistent cookies?

Persistent or stored cookies remain on your device after closing the browser. Websites use them to store data such as email, login username, and passwords so you do not have to re-enter them each time you log in. Persistent cookies may remain on your device for days, months, or even years.

What are temporary cookies?

Temporary cookies or session cookies are removed from your device when you close the browser. Websites use them to store temporary data, such as items in a shopping cart on webshops.

What are first‑party cookies?

First‑party cookies come from the website you are visiting and can be persistent or temporary. These cookies allow websites to store data that will be reused during your next visit.

What are third‑party cookies?

Third‑party cookies come from advertisements on other websites (such as pop‑ups or banners) displayed on the site you are visiting. These cookies allow websites to track internet usage for marketing purposes.

Who sets data collection systems?

Both first‑party and third‑party data collection systems are set and managed by the above‑mentioned GO Tours j.d.o.o. — email:
ktepavac@gmail.com

Data collection systems set by the Data Controller include:

  1. Necessary cookies – data collection systems strictly required for the operation of the website and the provision of our services. These systems store data about your logins or access to the website and service usage to apply security measures or adjust the website to your device settings (language, operating system, device, etc.). They also allow access to your personal account on the website (registration/login).
  2. Analytical cookies – data collection systems. We use them to create statistical data about website visits and usage of its various parts (visited pages, viewed content, user behavior), helping us improve the website and the quality of our services.
  3. Marketing cookies – advertising data collection systems. These systems allow us to analyze your use of the website and displayed ads, if active, so we can offer ads tailored to your interests on our website or partner websites. They allow us to:
    a) count and identify displayed ads,
    b) count users who clicked on each ad,
    c) track user behavior on pages linked from those ads,
    d) perform analytical processing of such data.

We may also share some data collected through these systems with our business partners to help them conduct visitor behavior research or more effectively place marketing materials on the website.

Data collection systems set by third parties:

  1. Some of our business partners or web service providers are permitted to set data collection systems on the website for the purposes listed above. The placement and use of such systems are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties.
  2. We use tools that analyze the use of this website and collect information about your habits and activities, helping us better understand your needs and improve your website experience.

The tools mentioned above may collect and store technical data such as:

  1. cookies,
  2. IP address of the user and/or visitor,
  3. mobile device identifier,
  4. browser data, etc., but do not identify the individual.

How can I change my settings?

At any time, you may review or modify settings related to data collection systems. In your browser settings, you can choose whether to occasionally or permanently accept or reject data collection systems. Please note that these settings may affect your browser’s performance and your use of services on the website that require such systems.

Cookie management is also available in the advanced settings on the website itself.
